Becromal was founded in 1955 and today is a key player in the market of aluminum foils for electrolytic capacitors. At Becromal, the raw foil undergoes a multiphase electrochemical process that modifies the surface structure of the foil at a microscopic level in order to increase its electrical capacity.

The foil is the main raw material used for the construction of aluminum electrolytic capacitors ensuring the functionality of almost all electronic circuits and electrical appliances such as television sets, car airbags, energy-saving devices and industrial inverters.
The current trend of miniaturization and high voltage application requires capacitors with prime power storage and usability. Becromal product line secures an excellent performance of capacitors with these high demands but offers also basic foil types for the commodity and motor start market.

Becromal is headquartered in Milano/Italy, with plants in the U.S.A. and Norway. With over 300 employees it is recognized as one of the largest manufacturers of aluminum foils for electrolytic capacitors.
