Becromal Iceland is seeking long term workers for the production factory (training phase starting December 2008) for the following positions:

Education and basic knowledge requirements:

Direct Workers - (shift work)
Basic English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Line worker: - secondary school
Shift leader: - secondary school and 2 year experience, chemistry knowledge, machine knowledge, defect knowledge (for quality control)
Forming Department Responsible: - secondary school and 5 years experience, technical education: chemistry knowledge, machine knowledge, plant knowledge, defect knowledge (for quality control), knowledge on Health Safety and Environment
Machine Washers: - secondary school

Production control workers
Good English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Plant Operator: - technical degree and 3 years experience, chemistry education and/or technical school, basic engineering education (responsible for Environmental control)

Laboratory Quality Control
Good English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Operator: - Chemistry education and 2 years experience
Quality control Responsible or Assistant: - University degree in chemistry and 3 years experience, quality control knowledge

Direct workers
Basic English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Slitting and Rewinding: - secondary school
Packaging and moving: - secondary school
Others: - secondary school

Indirect workers
Good English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Mechanics: - Technical education in mechanics and 2 years experience. It’s compulsory a standard qualification for plastic and steel welding
Mechanic leader: - technical education in mechanics, possibly also university degree in mechanics with at least 3 years experience with particular references on pumps and pipes, thermal and hydraulic regulation/control, valves installation.
Chemical: - University degree with studies in Chemistry and 2 years work experience
Electrician: - Technical education in many electrical and electronics fields as dc and ac motors, LV and HV electrical plants, PLC and main electronic circuitries . Minimum 2 years work experience is necessary. A standard qualification for LV/HV is compulsory
Electrical leader: - Education in electronics, possibly also university degree in electronics. At least 5 years experience is requested

Salary Paid Workers
Excellent English knowledge (both written and oral) strongly required
Logistic/ Shipping - invoicing: - Business school / Economics university with specialized courses in logistics, knowledge in international transportation of goods, international customs regulation, two years work experience.
Administrative: - University degree in accounting, two years work experience in accounting/pay roll accounting.
