Becromal Iceland is looking for highly qualified people for the two following key positions from the beginning of September 2008:

Chief Mechanical Engineer and Chief Electrical Engineer

The Role:
The candidates will be involved in every step of the construction process, supporting the hiring and selection of manpower for the company and then the day-to-day operation and management of the factory once production has started. We’re seeking high calibre engineering professionals who will be strong candidates for the CEO position of Becromal Iceland.

The ideal candidate for the position of “Chief Electrical Engineer”:
- Electrical Engineer with 10 years relevant experience in industrial facilities.
- Great understanding of the workings of circuit breakers, medium and low voltage electrical plants and machinery.
- In depth knowledge of power electronics, PLC-units and automatic controllers.
- Deep respect for all health and safety issues with specific emphasis for working in an HV electrical environment.
- Excellent I.T. knowledge.

The ideal candidate for the position of “Chief Mechanical Engineer”:
- Mechanical Engineer with 10 years relevant experience in industrial facilities.
- Deep understanding of the technical and maintenance apparatus of pipes and pumps in large scale production facilities, which utilize hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of . mechanical operations related to hydraulic aspects of high technology factories.
- Problem solving skills that enable him or her to service complex machinery and deal with both heating and cooling capacities of certain systems.
- Deep know-how of sight health and safety issues.
- Good I.T. knowledge.

In addition both candidates should have:
- Great English skills; Deep knowledge and respect for all safety features and requirements needed in the factory environment; Excellent ability to communicate and work effectively with others and coordinate a team and have capacity to motivate colleagues to always strive towards perfection.
